Several arrested, guns and stolen firearms seized in two MSP traffic stops

Multiple people were arrested on guns and drug charges during two traffic stops Saturday.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police (MSP) pulled over a vehicle for speeding on US-12 near Tharp Lake Road in Mason Township. This resulted in the seizure of two guns, one of which was reported stolen, according to MSP.

A 21-year-old Edwardsburg man was arrested and lodged in the Cass County Jail for carrying a concealed weapon, and carrying a stolen firearm.

MSP troopers pulled over a second vehicle for lane violation and improper registration on I-94 in Paw Paw Township that same day.
