NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — What began as a quiet day of fishing ended in panic for a family when a woman allegedly sprayed bear mace at a young boy at Lake Mingo.
Nicholasville police said the incident occurred around 4 p.m. on March 4 at Lake Mingo Park on Lakeview Drive. The 12‑year‑old boy was riding an electric scooter around the park as his family fished.
