MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a single stray bullet ripped through the bathroom, hallway, and kitchen walls of a Fox Meadows apartment early Tuesday morning, just missing the people inside.
A woman who lives in a second-floor unit at Windsor Place Apartments on Knight Arnold, and wished to remain anonymous, said that she, her boyfriend, and her six-year-old child were all asleep when they heard gunfire nearby at around 3:30 a.m.
“I know for sure it was four rounds that went off, and that last round the bullet came flying through the house, she said. “When the second round of shots went off, everybody just hit the floor, and the last round, that’s when we heard a loud shatter through the house.”

She said when they got up, they saw every wall had a bullet hole through it.
“It traveled all the way to the back restroom, and that’s when we looked down and saw a bullet in the sink,” said the woman.
The victim said police told her the shots were fired from a neighborhood next to her apartment complex…
