Candidates for Rutherford County sheriff support cooperation with federal immigration enforcement

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — This summer, Rutherford County voters will choose who will serve as the next sheriff of Rutherford County. The winner would succeed Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh, who is set to retire this year.

On Monday night at a debate in Murfreesboro, candidates for the role were asked what cooperation with federal immigration officers would look like under their leadership.
