Escambia County Fire Rescue responded to a residential garage fire on Friday, March 6 around 1:49 PM in the 300 block of Mizzen Lane. Crews from units SQ14, E8, E16, E17, L19, BC2, BC3, and S4 arrived to find heavy flames coming from the garage of a single-story home.
Firefighters quickly applied water and stopped the fire from spreading into the house. The blaze was under control by 2:01 PM, with no injuries or fatalities reported.
