Ukrainian pianist who studied in Rochester set to make Carnegie Hall debut

NEW YORK — Emilia Mullerman, a musician who began her career in Rochester, is set to make her Carnegie Hall debut on Tuesday night.

Born in Ukraine, Mullerman came to the U.S. to study at the Eastman School of Music and graduated in 2025. Mullerman credits the Rochester community and her performances at the Rochester Fringe Festival for helping her develop her artistic style. She spoke with News10NBC’s Emily Putnam about her journey.
