Brandon, FL — Two people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred at an apartment in Brandon earlier this week.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, detectives determined that James Sidney Llanos, 47, and his wife, Lizeina Marie Cepeda, 39, were subletting their apartment to 30-year-old Travon Jackson at a residence in the 1800 block of Lake Chapman Drive.
Investigators say that on March 9, 2026, Llanos and Cepeda entered the apartment in an attempt to evict Jackson. During the confrontation, Llanos allegedly shot Jackson, who died as a result of the incident…
