Free food Community Markets will be available across Western North Carolina during the week of March 9–13. These markets are open to everyone, offering full-choice groceries with no questions asked. The program is part of MANNA FoodBank’s effort to support local residents in need.
Markets will be held at several locations including Pine Grove at 53 Pine Grove Rd, Spruce Pine, Maple Crest Apartments at 20 Lee Garden Ln, Asheville, Erwin Middle School at 20 Erwin Hills Rd, Asheville, and other sites in Woodfin, Burnsville, and Asheville.
