After a large number of Baltimore County Public Schools students walked out of their classes on Friday, Feb. 6 to protest ICE, some students have reported receiving detention for their participation.
Genesis Posadas, an 11th-grade student, helped organize the Kenwood walkout. Now, she says that she and a number of other students have received Saturday detention. The notice received stated that she could be suspended if the detention was not served.
