ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — A new event is coming to Asheville this summer, and it’s expected to bring in whiskey enthusiasts from all across the region.
The event is the first-ever Western North Carolina Whiskey Festival, and it’s set for May 30 at the Mission Health/A-B Tech Conference Center in Asheville. According to a March 9 news release, the one-day festival will bring together distillers and whiskey enthusiasts from across the region for tastings, education and celebration of whiskey culture.
The festival, which is presented by the WNC Harvest & Heritage Foundation, Inc., is exclusive, as just 500 tickets, including 150 VIP tickets, will be sold. The tickets are available for purchase now at the Whiskey Festival website…
