Alleged drug dealer accused of locking up customer in Davie storage unit for months, police say

An alleged drug dealer was arrested after he was accused of locking up a customer inside a storage unit in Davie for months, authorities said.

Oscar Moses Badger, 49, was arrested last week on a kidnapping charge, Broward jail records showed.

According to an arrest affidavit, Davie Police had responded to the Access Self Storage at 7000 Southwest 22nd Court on March 1 after a caller said someone was locked in a unit, screaming and asking for medical attention.

Fire rescue responded, cut the lock and found the 58-year-old victim inside of the bay, which “was in complete disarray and had a foul smell coming from several five gallon buckets” that were filled with the man’s feces and urine, the affidavit said…
