SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — Iowa National Guard soldiers are heading home in just a few days.
Iowa National Guard officials said that three more welcome home ceremonies are coming as 575 soldiers are expected to return home soon. Those coming home are part of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division.

Soldiers are returning from a deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, where they worked to reduce ISIS capabilities in both Iraq and Syria. They also helped to make sure the region is a safer place…
