MADISON COUNTY, Iowa — A judge has dismissed two of the four defendants in a federal civil lawsuit brought by Madison County Supervisor Heather Stancil and former interim Auditor Matthew Schwarz.
The judge’s order in the case was filed on Monday, dismissing County Attorney Stephen Swanson and Elections Deputy Mikayla (Garside) Simpson from the lawsuit.
