Crash causes temporary power outage in Palmyra

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – The entire town of Palmyra was left without power after a crash that damaged over a dozen power poles Monday evening.

Nebraska City Utilities (NCU) told 10/11 that the town lost power sometime around 5 p.m. Monday. The company also made a post on its social media explaining the situation.

The company said a truck for a private contractor caused the crash and got tangled in some communication wires. As the truck driver continued driving, the vehicle pulled wires and caused some poles to snap…
