Vera Lewis named YWCA Madison’s Chief Development Officer

With over 20 years of experience in strategic fundraising, donor engagement, marketing, and organizational leadership, Vera Lewis will be the new Chief Development Officer for YWCA Madison, the non-profit organization announced on Monday.

Originally from Chicago, Lewis has a passion and commitment to equity, justice, and liberation that are palpable throughout her professional career, according to a press release from YWCA Madison, and has served in a similar capacity in organizations such as the Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness, the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), and the National Black MBA Association.
