Healthgrades has recognized several North Texas hospitals among the safest in the U.S. in its 2026 Patient Safety Excellence Awards.
The program honors hospitals in the top 10 percent nationwide for preventing serious complications and ensuring high standards of patient care. Among the 5 percent in North Texas were Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital, Arlington; Medical City Arlington; Medical City Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Lewisville, McKinney, North Richland Hills, and Plano; as well as Texas Health Fort Worth; and Baylor Scott & White Frisco and Irving.
