PLEASANT HOPE, Mo. — Pleasant Hope High School was on lockdown on Tuesday due to a possible gun threat.
According to a release from the Pleasant Hope R-VI School District, the high school got a call at around 10:40 a.m. with a threat of gun violence, causing the school district to initiate an emergency response. The superintendent tells Ozarks First it may have been a swatting call.
