BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – The East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office says a lack of witness contact led to the dismissal of prior rape charges against a 22-year-old man now accused of raping a 94-year-old woman in broad daylight.
Jeremiah Taylor was arrested Friday in connection with the rape of the 94-year-old woman. The WAFB I-TEAM first reported Friday that Taylor had been released from jail the day after the DA’s office dismissed a separate rape charge against him in January.
