DENHAM SPRINGS, La. — A shoplifting complaint at Academy Sports and Outdoors at Juban Crossing led Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office detectives to a Denham Springs home where they recovered stolen firearms, narcotics and stolen merchandise, according to Sheriff Jason Ard.
Detectives with the LPSO Armed Robbery and Burglary Division opened an investigation into Andrew Jenkins following the shoplifting complaint. The investigation led detectives to a residence on Aberdeen Acres in Denham Springs, where Jenkins had been residing, Ard said.
