DENVER (KDVR) — A homicide suspect was arrested after leading police on a chase when they caught him driving without a license plate, according to a post on X from the Aurora Police Department.
Just after midnight on Sunday, Aurora police officers were patrolling the area of East 13th Place and North Uvalda Court when they spotted a vehicle driving without plates. The officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the suspect fled. The department said that the officers suspected that the vehicle was stolen, so they pursued.

The officers said that the suspect was driving recklessly and eventually crossed city lines into Denver. The suspect avoided two PIT maneuvers but was hit by a third attempt. After the successful PIT maneuver, the driver and a passenger exited the vehicle and began to flee on foot.
Officers were able to catch the driver and arrest him. He was identified as 25-year-old Isaiah Easley. Investigators recovered a loaded handgun near the vehicle and also learned that Easley had an active warrant for homicide…
