K9 deputy’s vehicle hit by reckless driver who fled from Spokane police

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane County Sheriff’s K9 deputy escaped serious injury Monday night when suspects fleeing from police crashed into his patrol vehicle, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident occurred at 11 p.m. on March 9 near N. Whitehouse Street and W. Columbia Avenue when a black Chrysler 300 occupied by multiple males reported to be armed struck the deputy’s car, authorities said.
