Police share new photo of at-large suspect in Puyallup robbery

Police have released a new photo of a suspect sought in a Puyallup credit union robbery last month.

According to a March 9 Facebook post from the Puyallup Police Department, the suspect was wearing a neon yellow shirt, brown pants and gray shoes with white soles after removing a disguise worn during the incident at Harborstone Credit Union on Feb. 25.

“During their investigation, detectives learned that the Harborstone Credit Union robbery suspect discarded his disguise for the outfit he is pictured in,” the post said.

When the robbery happened, the suspect was wearing a disguise that consisted of a tan hat, dark-colored wig, safety glasses, face mask and blue flannel shirt.

The News Tribune previously reported the robbery occurred at about 2:14 p.m. Investigators said that the suspect showed the teller a firearm and demanded money, then fled on foot.

In the post, PPD described the suspect as “an unknown race male with a light brown complexion, approximately 40 years old, around 6’0”, and weighing approximately 230 pounds.”…
