Sinkhole forces roads to close in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Drivers are being urged to avoid Glenallen Avenue in Montgomery County after a sinkhole opened.

Details are limited; however, the Montgomery County Department of Police said the hole has forced Glenallan Avenue to close from Layhill Road to Randolph Road.

It is currently unclear how large and deep the sinkhole is.
