Local man,19, learns his fate after high-speed chase leads to deadly crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — After pleading guilty to being involved in a high-speed chase that led to the death of a teen, a local man has received a prison sentence.

According to the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, Dominick Parlett, 19, has been sentenced to 12 and a half to 16 and a half years in prison for the following charges:

  • One count of Involuntary Manslaughter
  • Two counts of Failure to Comply
  • One count of Receiving Stolen Property – motor vehicle
  • Two counts of Vehicular Assault

As previously covered, on November 19, 2024, Moraine police located a stolen 2019 Ford Escape that had been reported missing from Fairborn.
