Authorities: Substitute teacher arrested for bringing gun to school

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — Authorities at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department say a substitute teacher has been arrested for bringing a gun to school.

On Monday at 9:30 am, officers were called to Blythewood High School after being notified that a substitute teacher, 37-year-old Justin Fox, went through security with a gun.

Authorities say Fox told them that he forgot his gun was on him after visiting a gun range over the weekend…
