Springfield man sentenced after guilty plea in case involving three children

A Springfield man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to charges related to incidents involving several children in 2025.

James Boles, 32, of Springfield, pleaded guilty on February 5 to two counts of menacing by stalking and one count of gross sexual imposition stemming from incidents that occurred in July 2025.

The investigation began after a mother contacted deputies when her 14-year-old daughter reported inappropriate behavior by a male identified as Boles. During the investigation, authorities determined two additional children — a 10-year-old boy and an 8-year-old boy — were also victims…
