Man’s body found in wooded area of Georgetown Township, deputies say

GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The body of a man was found in a wooded area of Georgetown Township Tuesday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies believe he was living in the woods.

Around 1:44 p.m., the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office was called to Chicago Drive near 18th Avenue after the body was reported. Deputies say the body belonged to a white man in his 20s who was believed to have been living in the wooded area.
