Raven’s Antiques and Collectibles expects to open April 18 in Grand Rapids with space for up to 60 vendors to sell antique decor and vintage apparel, marking the culmination of owner Jeremy Schnotala’s lifelong passion for antiquing.
The business at 1750 Clyde Park Ave. SW will take the place of antique store Elevated Grand Rapids, which relocated last year.
“I started antiquing in high school,” he said. “My whole bedroom was always filled with antiques. My grandparents would always give me stuff.”
Over the years, Schnotala has sold antiques in booths at shows, online on Etsy and locally at Wally’s Treasures and Warehouse One Antiques.
For the last 32 years, Schnotala has worked full-time as a drama and English teacher at Wyoming Public Schools. He intends to continue his role as a teacher while operating Raven’s…
