NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Nearly three years after a violent assault at a Jessamine County jail, the man accused of killing another inmate appeared in court for a competency hearing.
On March 18, 2022, officers with the Nicholasville Police Department responded to a reported assault at the Jessamine County Detention Center, where 38-year-old Adam Duff had allegedly left another inmate in critical condition.
The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and died on March 23.
