Louisville, KY Man Sentenced for Role in Conspiracy to Distribute Drugs in Laurel, Knox, Whitley, Floyd, and Pike Counties

LONDON, KY — A Louisville, KY, man was sentenced on Tuesday, March 10, to 120 months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute large quantities of methamphetamine.

According to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky, U.S. District Judge Claria Horn Boom sentenced 47-year-old Keith Wayne Bishop for his role in a conspiracy to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine across multiple counties.

Bishop’s plea agreement indicates that between January 2023 and September 2023, he conspired with others to distribute the drugs. During that timeframe, Bishop obtained pound quantities of methamphetamine and distributed it to mid- and low-level dealers, as well as end users, in Laurel County, KY…
