CAROLINA SHORES, N.C. (WMBF) – A new shopping development is under construction along Highway 17 in Carolina Shores, with residents expressing both support and concerns about its impact on the surrounding area.
Publix announced in 2023 that it would build a location off Highway 17, a project overseen by the city of Carolina Shores.
Walmart also announced a new location nearby. Construction has already begun on both projects…
