Monroe County resident charged with promoting prison contraband in Geneseo

GENESEO, NY — A Monroe County resident faces a felony charge after jail staff discovered him with dangerous contraband, according to Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty.

Members of the Livingston County Jail observed incarcerated individual Lorenzo Wade in possession of dangerous contraband at approximately 9 p.m. March 8, 2026.
