RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Several months ago, multiple homeowners began contacting a local television station about a contractor they said left their homes unfinished and their wallets empty.
Four families said they hired Larry Kendall Johnson to repair or renovate their homes. Instead, they claim the jobs stalled, inspections failed and the contractor eventually stopped responding.
“I don’t know when I’ve been more let down,” one homeowner said. “I had all confidence in the world in him.”…
