An Ocklawaha man was arrested after sending videos and AI-generated messages to a woman with a restraining order against him.
Officers responded to the Rolling Acres Apartments on County Road 466 regarding 32-year-old Michael Richard Lebert violating a protection order around 10:45 a.m. Friday, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.
The mother of his children advised that she had an active protection order against him from Marion County. Despite this, he had sent multiple messages to her phone and email that did not pertain to their shared children, the report said.
She showed the officers how Lebert consistently called her 13 times on March 5, sent videos of himself conducting Instagram reels, made AI memes of the two together on a Valentine’s Day card, sent an AI happy birthday note and other messages from January through the day she contacted law enforcement, the report said…
