The renovation of the University of Iowa’s original Art Building has been delayed, with completion initially planned for summer 2026. The historic building underwent construction beginning in December 2024 and is now set to open in fall 2026.
The Graduate College, the College of Education’s Art Education Space, and the School of Planning and Public Affairs will move into the renovated space over winter break of 2026.
