LUBBOCK, Texas — On Friday, March 6, Timothy Bond Jr. was killed just before 6 p.m. while riding his motorcycle on 42nd Street and Memphis Avenue.
His mother Melissa Bond is grieving the loss of her son and wants an answer to what happened that evening.
“He [Lubbock Police] stated that your son did everything right to avoid a collision, that a car came to a stop sign and did not stop completely,” Bond said.

According to Lubbock Police Department’s statement, they arrived on the scene for a call about a hit-and-run with injuries. Later, they reported that they do not know if another car was involved and it is possible that Timothy lost control of his bike and crashed.
“He was my reason for living and staying strong and, you know, taking care of things, and I just felt like everything just broke apart,” Bond said…
