NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Expect another warm and spring-like day across SE LA with temperatures climbing in the to mid to low 80s this afternoon. Breezy and cloudy conditions will be seen most of the day.
Timing for severe weather is still ranging from 8 p.m. – 3 a.m. with a stronger emphasis on the 9 p.m. – 12 p.m. time frame.
After GMNO, I’ve tweaked a few of the parameters regarding impacts.
Hail threat still present, but slightly reduced… 60+ mph wind threat increased.
Flash flooding increased slightly but not a primary concern. Where this will be more of a problem is north of the I-10/12 corridor… …
