Shreveport Mardi Gras Assault Case: Elderly Woman’s Story

A woman accused of attacking an elderly woman at a Shreveport Mardi Gras parade pleads not guilty.

Georgie Creamer faces charges in Shreveport City Court for the incident in February that led to a social media firestorm when the viral video was released. That video shows Creamer shouting at an elderly black woman who was getting in front of her at the Krewe of Centaur parade.

The woman was at the parade with her great grandchildren. Creamer cursed at the woman and told her to move along. She then allegedly attacked her by throwing a beer on her.

Creamer is now scheduled to stand trial in May in this case…
