Kansas Weather Alert: Severe Thunderstorm Watch Covers 10 Counties Including Wichita Until 11 PM Tuesday

Wichita, Kansas – Strong thunderstorms could disrupt evening travel across central and south-central Kansas as a Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains active for 10 counties, including the Wichita metro, until 11 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Wichita, Severe Thunderstorm Watch 34 covers Butler, Cowley, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick, Sumner, Harper, Chase and Marion counties through the late evening hours.
