Henderson mayor responds after Cox lawsuit accuses fellow city council member of battery

Henderson Mayor Michelle Romero isn’t holding back when it comes to a recent lawsuit filed by Councilwoman Carrie Cox, alleging battery by a fellow Henderson City Council member.

This comes after Cox filed suit against Councilman Jim Seebock in Clark County District Court.

The suit alleges that before a meeting in March 2024, Seebock “cornered” Cox behind the council dais and had a “heated discussion” about Seebock becoming mayor pro tem. It claims that Seebock forcefully struck Cox on her upper arm three times…
