One great thing about being on the seventh floor of Salem Hospital, besides meeting the exceptionally caring and competent staff, is the view.
What is not ideal is the reason I was there, which is that they admitted me. I would rather have been on the bike.
The other reason I was there, in Salem Hospital on the seventh floor, is that the Samaritan hospital in Albany could not do the MRI test I needed. They usually can do it, but not on me because of my pacemaker. Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis could do it, but the hospital was full and did not have an available bed…
