Hawaii braces for 30″ of rain: ‘This storm is very real’

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu City crews were preparing for the storm, and some City facilities will be closed starting Wednesday, March 11.

Islands brace for potentially strongest storm of wet season yet

Public parks, gyms and pools will be closed for the coming days, and officials said residents should keep their guard up through the weekend.

Park staff is getting ready to open four shelters on City property if necessary.
