AROUND TOWN: Wildlife sanctuary preparing to fight planned residences

The fight over a proposal to build 280 residences a few hundred feet from the Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary in south Gwinnett is showing no signs of letting up.

In fact, it’s about to heat up as the sanctuary’s owners are gearing up to go on the offensive against Virginia-based developer Middleburg Communities.
