Creed Fussner Needs Our Help
We recently shared a story about the Fussner family from Chandler, Indiana, and the struggles they are facing with their son, Creed. At four months old, Creed is fighting the biggest battle of his life, as he has bacterial meningitis. No matter how you cut it, this infection is a medical emergency that requires immediate attention, or the results could lead to permanent brain damage, hearing loss, learning disabilities, and even death. Creed had excessive fluid and swelling on his brain, which led to surgery to drain and relieve pressure. While he is receiving the best care possible at Riley Children’s Hospital at IU Health, Creed’s battle is just beginning, and his family needs all the help they can get to make it through this and be with their son.
