GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – As the Greenville community continues to find ways to honor the memory of Rev. Jesse Jackson, an effort is underway to pay tribute to his high school.
Rev. Jackson’s alma mater, Sterling High School, mysteriously burned down in 1967 and was never rebuilt. Before desegregation, the school was the only high school for Black students in Greenville.
