The Von Braun Center (VBC) will host a special community tribute concert, “A Night of the Blues Honoring Microwave Dave,” on Friday, March 27 in the VBC Mars Music Hall.
The free event, presented in partnership with acclaimed blues guitarist Stacy Mitchhart, will celebrate the life and legacy of Dave “Microwave” Gallagher – beloved musician, educator, and passionate advocate for arts education.
Gallagher’s influence extended far beyond the stage. Through his performances, mentorship, and community involvement, he helped nurture generations of musicians and inspired a deep appreciation for blues music throughout the region…
