The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning at 9:58 p.m. EDT on Tuesday in effect until Wednesday at 4 a.m. EDT for Clinton, Gratiot, Ionia and Montcalm counties.
“At 9:58 p.m., Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain falling across the warned area. A few more hours of thunderstorms with heavy rain is expected. Flash flooding is expected tonight,” says the weather service. “Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.”…
