PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — After more than a year of unanswered questions and intense investigation, authorities have arrested a Miami man suspected in the mysterious roadside killing of a West Palm Beach area nurse whose body was found along Lyons Road in late 2024.
On Tuesday, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office took 38-year-old Rene J. Perez into custody in Miami on an outstanding warrant charging him with first-degree murder with a deadly weapon and tampering with physical evidence in the death of 35-year-old Linda Campitelli.
