RPD investigating theft, vandalism in Memorial Art Gallery parking lot

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Police are investigating the vandalism of — and theft of items from — a vehicle pared at the Memorial Art Gallery on Tuesday. The vehicle owner told police one of the suspects pointed what appeared to be a handgun at him.

Rochester Police responded to the gallery on University Avenue at around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. The victim said that when he approached his car in the parking lot, he saw who he believed to be the suspects in a different vehicle trying to leave the parking lot.
