The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for Montgomery County until 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Wednesday afternoon alert.
The communities under the watch include Aspen Hill, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Potomac, Rockville and Silver Spring, according to the weather service.
